Project: TalentNexus

TalentNexus is a platform that helps recruiters or HRs recruit internationally from a huge and diverse pool of talents.

Given below are my contributions to the project:

  • Export command
    • What it does: Provide a way for recruiters to create backups / copies of existing recruits
    • Justification: Recruits may want to use other software (e.g. Excel) to manage recruit data
  • Copy ID button
    • What it does: Allow recruiters to easily copy the recruit's id
    • Justification: UUID can be used as command parameter

• Enhancements to existing features:

  • Added UUID field to recruits

• Documentation:

  • User Guide:
    • Added documentation for the features export
    • Did cosmetic tweaks to existing documentation of features
    • Added useful tips, warning and glossary
  • Developer Guide:
    • Added target user profile, glossary, value proposition, user stories

• Community:

  • PRs reviewed (with non-trivial review comments)
  • Contributed to forum discussions
  • Reported bugs and suggestions for other teams in the class
  • Some parts of the history feature I added was adopted by several other classmates
